Description
Our Supply Chain Stories Panel for NAPB 2023 will focus on reactions to the inevitable and constant shipping delays OEMs faced in 2022. We considered a full session on the topic but opted for a panel discussion since OEM supply chains often differ drastically, so there many be little consistency in outcomes. We expect to hear stories such as:
- Switching port locations
- Finding alternative transportation such as new or different ocean carriers, or switching North American modes
- Setting different terms and conditions with suppliers
- Changing safety stock levels and lead times
- And more
