Description
Every OEM has varying numbers of “critical” orders but typically the most critical is “vehicle off road” or “machine down”. These orders get special flags in systems, different referral policies, and come with different costs. However, they’re also expensive and can be easily abused by dealers. This session will cover VOR order management best practices such as:
• Defining VORs to prevent dealers from gaming the system while still providing high customer support
• Triaging orders
• Stocking parts likely to be on VOR
• Handling VORs to maximize service and minimize cost
