Description

Festo’s Mason campus, located 30 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a state-of-the-art logistics and manufacturing plant that warehouses, distributes, and manufactures advanced automation technology serving all North America. Festo Mason employs more than 250 people and is among the 15 largest employers in Mason, Ohio.

Opened in 2015 and expanded in 2018, the Mason plant now fills three buildings covering 565,000 square feet on a 47-acre campus. Mason’s storage capacity end-to-end is 35 miles long with automated material handling equipment that can accelerate faster than a sports car. When it comes to production and shipping, Festo Mason has some of the best delivery performance in the industry, thanks to its automated systems and centralized location.

There are three functions at Festo Mason: warehousing and distribution, manufacturing/assembly, and technology education through Festo Didactic. Festo Mason is responsible for a high percentage of Festo products that receive customization for North American customers. Customized products include valves, valve terminals, cylinders, and full custom solutions designed for our specific customer needs.

Festo Mason is also home to the company’s award-winning mechatronics apprenticeship program (MAP2), which first launched at the Festo Learning Center in 2016. In 2020, MAP2 earned the Best in Ohio Business Award in the Workforce Development Program category.

The Mason campus was initially envisioned as a state-of-the-art distribution facility. It has blossomed to become much more –a vibrant example of 21st century automation, manufacturing, and workforce enrichment.
